Does Importing a save with Shani romance bring significant differences?
I am currently replaying The Witcher 1, so I can play 2 with an imported save. Usually I am loyal to Triss at the part where you have to decide between her and Shani, because imo that is more fitting for Geralt, but I was considering to romance Shani since Triss is the default option.

However, I have heard rumours that save import doesnt really do anything much, so I wondered if I should even bother.

So my question is: Will I get anything out of choosing Shani? I dont want details spoilered, just a simple yes / no and maybe how much changes (i. e. a different quest or just a few different lines).

Thanks in advance.

Imports for this franchise are pointless compared to Mass Effect. As a person who wanted to get into Witcher by first playing 1 and then jumping to 2 - i can safely tell you that the decisions you make in 1 will be utterlessly pointless in 2.

Ah too bad, guess I will stay faithful to my sorceress then.

you're basically force scripted into being with Triss.

in my imported game, I chose Shani. When I started Witcher 2, there was a little note explaining why she's not there and why I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Triss now.
