Harpy Contract - Chapter 2

Hi all. Enjoying the game so far.

Having issues getting the harpys to take my traps.
Not even sure where the heck to find 7 nests.

The only nest I seen had a diamond thing in it , for the Hunting Magic questline.

I used a walkthrough, kinda, because it didn't actually tell me anything, other than, there are 3 nests in the hunting for magic quest area. none of these silly birds would take a trap.

Any ideas?

to out the mahakaman gate (probably not the correct spelling) then got to the quarry, 4 nests are in the quarry then the next three are behind a sealed gate which you can get the key from cecil.

Ah yes, they were in an area I had yet to explore. Thanks Twiz7ed

I kept trying it on the harpys by the crypt where u find the Banner

The problem I'm having is that the harpies are no longer showing. I went to the qurarry earlier, fought my way to the door, realized I don't have the key, not to mention enough harpy traps. I went back, finished the harpy feather sidequest, got some more traps and the key.

Now I'm back at the quarry and it's empty except for crows. Is it just a matter of time? Does anyone know how long it might take to respawn, if that's the issue?

Meditate for a day and the harpies will return.

Harpy quest. Am I hosed?

I killed the harpy queen and her minions before I finished destroying all the harpy nests. there are 3 nests in the area behind the dwarven door in the bottom of the quarry, but now no harpies spawn when I go there, so I can't destroy the nests. Is there any way I can finish the quest?

Nevermind. Just had to wait a day and come back. But it was odd, the harpies had spawned in the quarry before, but not in the area beyond the door.

There is a map in Cecil's house that has them marked.
