Strange audio problem

During gameplay, sound seems to work perfectly. But as soon as a cutscene starts, voices are turned down completely - I can barely hear them - while other sounds stay on the same volume. I've already turned music and effects to 5 while keeping dialogue at 10, but that only helps for the gameplay and doesn't do anything for the cutscenes.

Is this a known issue? Anything I can do to fix this, it's really annoying and breaks immersion...

Have you tried checking to see if there are newer audio drivers for you computer.

I researched it a little myself, and apparently the problem occurs when your system is set to 5.1 audio instead of stereo.

So, I'm going to check now if this solved it.
