Why spare the dragon? It will just suffer.
After beating the dragon and getting the choice to spare it, i killed it to end its misery. But afterwords with Triss, Geralt says it like he could have saved it. But it had a giant ♥♥♥♥ing tree through its chest, so i dont think it could have survived it.

EDIT: I just went back and spared the dragon because of you guys, thanks :D
but the achievement said spare or save, so if you choose Iorveth do you get a mission to save it?

Did you choose Iorveth or Roche?

First of all, it is a she not a he... second, dragons are f***ing dragons, they heal super fast and s**t... third, witcher don't kill dragons it's in the lore, in fact Geralt states that dragons are one of the most beautifull things in the world (who wouln't agree?)... and fourth... you definetly went the Roche path... otherwise you have no soul, haha!
From the sheer fact that I f(_)cking HATE the Order of the Flaming Rose (due to the fact that they R@PE women at every g0dd@mn chance they get), I choose Iorveth's path every time and spared Saskia every time (pretty sure Dragons have healing factors in the Witcher universe, albeit slow ones).

I also killed as many members of the Order of the Flaming Rose as I could in the Witcher 1.

I spared Saskia both times. She survived the poisoning which is impossible for a human, the tree I'm sure hurt like hell but it would take more than that to kill a dragon. Not only that but she was under a spell so her attacking you was because of that. I couldn't kill someone or any creature that didn't mean any harm. Same with the trolls. I never killed them either.

Careful, spoilers Frillin.

Well, there is some things you might not know about the dragon.

I would say, everyone that went on Roche side probably killed the dragon. But on Iorveth's side, you get to know more about the dragon. Which probably would let think twice about killing that dragon.

;)

My bad. And again I think you learn about the dragon equally no matter what path you take. I mean you fight with her personally to defend Upper Aedirn regardless. Even if I knew next to nothing about the dragon I still would've walked away I think. The dragon was wounded so there's no point making things worse.

You only learn about the dragon on Iorveth's side.
Cyotey May 7, 2015 @ 8:15am
Dude I played both branches. You learn who the dragon is on both sides.

Oh well now i regret killing the dragon :( i knew that it was under a spell and stuff and i love dragons but i just thought that it was gonna die anyway after getting impaled by that tree so i just thought that it would be best to end its misery...

Btw i did choose Roches path and i didnt learn anything about the dragon.

I debated on it too. But I figured if there was a chance of her living I wouldn't do it.

Oh if you mean go back and help heal her or something then no. That's it. She gets off the branch and lays for a while and heals. That's the last you see of her in Witcher 2.

Don't know where you got the idea that the Order of the Flaming Rose Rape woman, considering there was nothing to suggest that they ever did, the worst choice is siding with the scoia'tael who are just terrorist and bandits who claim they are fighting for equel rights even though they are racist to humans themselves and the scoia'tael elves in witcher 1 like to yell ''drive the humans to sea'' and considered killing a hospital full of humans and nonhumans who are equally treated by Shani. A good scoia'tael elf is a dead one.

It says they rape 2 sorceress at the end of the game when you go back to triss. Also it says they killed anyone who tried to stop them.
