I'm playing dark mode on chapter 1 and trying to obtain the Blasphemer's Outfit. So far i've bought just 2 diagrams of the armor and manage to let the dwarf carft it (the Gauntlets and the boots). But after the battle against Letho and Iorveth being captured, all the merchants in flotsam disappeared and i have yet to buy the rest of the armor diagrams. Is the armor is doomed for me?

yes. if you intend to get it, then prepare to farm money in next play through. And, by the way, there are better sets in next chapters.
