What would book Geralt do?
I have not read all of the Witcher books yet, but I'm already planning on playing through the Witcher games again as a Geralt true to his character. With that said, I call upon knowledge from anyone who has read the books. When making decisions in the game, how would book Geralt most likely handle them? Here are some example questions but really any information would be helpful.

Would he stay out of politics and try to keep neutral?

Would he honor a deal to the end, even if things get suspicious?

Or would he intervene and try to do the right thing no matter the cost?

What choices/paths would he most likely have made in the Witcher games?

Let me know, I would appreciate any possible information.

I haven't read the books myself, but so far and what I've heard, it pretty much makes sense that you play as you want to play him.

1. He lost his memories, so he don't know how he would handle certain situations by himself (and this is as far as I recall) even a subtopic of the game itself.

2. I usually try to play as neutral as possible, but the game often forces you to chose something not neutral.

3. Anyways, in The Witcher 1, there was this sentence in the journal after you give Triss a certain answer: "I realized that I don't like to kill and only chose it as the very last option"
This sentence quite impressed me with Geralts character and ever since I try to play as peaceful as possible :)

Oh something more:

Since The Witcher Video games all play AFTER the books and it's considered to be a continuation of the story, and since Geralt goes through some events that easily can change a person to a certain degree, it would also make sense that you don't need or in other words, there don't IS any "book Geralt" anymore. It would perfectly make sense for him even if you want to stay true to the character that you do your own choices and they're not in sync with book Geralt ^^

Dont remember it all that well but dont you yourself decide the answer adn therefor also the attitude towards killing?

from what i remember from the books it is kinda his (geralt) attitude though.

He got no real loyalty to a strip of land or a crown.
He and his kind were made for fighting the monsters and nothing more
thats how i believe he think of his own midset.

currently reading the last books and in there he still doesnt like politics but it is something he endures for the sake of his " friends"
