Can't spend talents.

I'm sorry if this has already been addressed, but I can't find any information on it here nor in the CD Projekt forums. I just advanced to Level 3, and I have two talents to spend. I go to the talent tree page and click on where I want to spend my talents (in the training branch which is all you can do until you've spent six talents) and nothing happens! Maybe it's something simple I'm overlooking, but I've tried nearly every key on my keyboard, and the manual makes no mention of it. Thanks for any help!

The only thing that I can think of is that if you're playing on Hard difficulty (or above) then you can't increase your skills by simply clicking 'C' to go to the character page. In the higher difficulty settings you have to meditate and then from the meditation screen choose the character screen.

This is so in harder difficulties you have to level up only out of combat.

Adnoam, yes, that fixed the issue! Thank you for the reply. I guess it's an intentional mechanic to add to the difficulty of the game. You must enter "meditation" mode to spend your talent points if you play on Dark difficutly (which I am doing.) Thank you, again.
