The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

[Windows 11] can't run the game due to missing DLL files
trying to run the game for the first time ever today and am met with two missing files:
"mfc100u.dll" and "MSVCP100.dll"
I've searched through the steam forums and all the links to the supposed problem solving downloads are no longer working, and having tried both downloading and installing 2010 service pack 1 and repairing windows visual studio runtime with three different versions (2010, 2012, and 2013) I still meet with the exact same errors. what do I do now?

edit: forgot to mention I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling and verifying game files as well with no luck.

that partially worked. I had to uninstall the newer version of C++ 2010 and then run the installer included with the game.
to future searchers: the solution is to uninstall visual studio C++ 2010 (specifically that year) and then run the included redist file mentioned by alekine. after that run the DX setup inside the directX folder. that's what worked for me.
thank you.
