But what I would like the most - having a new game set in the time of first witchers.
THIS! On toast please! That would be amazing. Monsters all over the place, instead of hunting like mad, or leaving one hoping the horde will re-pop (Witcher 3).
Wouldn't it be great if it was so bad you were having to run and hide a lot? Okay, maybe not a lot, but and I don't know if the books go into this... Was Phase in still happening when they started to make the Witchers? Or was it mass roaming and over-powering everything that was the problem?
Some of the monsters that Witchers worried about just out right maybe making you fail a quest because:
1) You didn't set up a trap for a monster in a good (for you area)
2) Research well enough before the fight (kinda #1) but add's of another kinda of monster joining in
3) Getting outright over powered because you misjudge the monster or didn't have enough info yet.
I know, list under things that will never happen, but being from different Witcher communities and getting new info (cause the Bear cracked X monster) and now you have something new to try would be so cool.
Edit to add: Sorry should of addressed OP. I went down his path as well and *really* enjoyed the story. Was also sad he wasn't in the next game. He made a lot of sense about a number of things that I enjoyed the conversations with his character. Didn't care for Roche too much. Started another play through with the idea of seeing his path but went... nah. I'm good with the ending I got.
As for Iorweth and Roche: I think that Roche's path is also quite interesting, it's just that alot of people are ignoring Iorweth simply for the fact that he's not present in Witcher 3 but Roche is, and thinking that there are no reason to try siding with different character.
TL:DR - Iorweth's path is kinda underrated. And I also don't wanna leave Saskia under Philippa's spell
