Can't fire ballistica?

Hello,
I am on the barricade level, and I am able to ♥♥♥♥ the ballistica. I defeat the second wave of troops, but when I go to aim the bollistica no matter how hhard I mash the mouse, I always am stuck with killing more gaurds.

Someone please help!

You're not supposed to ♥♥♥♥ it. You have to shoot it.

First, You have to caulk it: Click on the left button mouse fast and fill the yellow bar....After some guards will spawn....Just waste them...Second, You'll have to aim it: Repeat #1....After more guards will show up (You know what to do)....Third, aim and shoot....

yes, . But when I go to aim it after I defeat the gaurds, I can't seem to click hard enough befor another wave of gaurds come, and Iam stuck in that loop of failing to aim the ballistica and killing more waves of gaurds. I know it is not a problem with me not clicking hard enough, because I can get past caulking the wepeon easy enough.

I struggled a bit with that part as well but unfortunately, I can't tell you how I got through it. I know it doesn't have anything to do with how hard you press any buttons though. It's a timing thing as I recall.

You think it's safe because you killed all the bad guys but at least one more group will respawn out of nowhere, maybe two or three times even? Just be mindful of what you are being asked to do and stop trying to use your brain.

^Zegactly! It's not like you're given any choice in the matter - just do as you're told.

There is at least two waves of ennemies... arming and aiming the balista. If too slow to do these tasks, other waves can come. And using your brain might be useful, even for clicking or making sure you fill the game requirements (might be an issue for qte) or spell balista.

No worries. I could have gone with ballistica even as long as that spelling was used consistently. Seeing three different spellings drove me nuts.
