(Update Solved) Microsoft Visual C + + Runtime Library
Well just brought the game and this pops up when i start it:

Microsoft Visual C + + Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program: ...6)\Steam\steamapps\common\the witcher 2\bin\witcher2.EXE

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application´s support team for more information.

How do i fix this? Nothing wrong with my specs or the pc in general.
And no i do not have the witcher 1.

First guess is the installation of runtime components failed (That stuff that happens when 1st starting a game). DirectX, etc.

Make sure you have admin privileges, or the steam service is running properly (when in doubt, restart computer). Then reinstall the game.

How to reinstall without redownload:
- navigate to steam\steamapps\common\
- Find the game folder and move it elsewhere (on the same harddrive)
- Go into steam library and uninstall the game.
- Move the game folder back to common folder.
- Go to library and hit install again.
- Steam will discover existing files and only download/install settings, etc it deleted.

Also verify game cache.

Did you install the others? You need all of them.

And i think these should be covered in windows updates. Is your system uptodate?

Please do not update the version 3.4, if you have the different types of Windows 7. After updating, this game still has the same problem, especially for Korean Windows. Thnx.
