The Nekker Contract Advice needed

When I try the Nekker contract, firstly I don't get a pointer, but I know where they are coz of doing the Endrega job. More importantly, I can't seem to destroy their nests! I've got 3 types of bomb, Samum, Dragons Breath, and Dancing Star. I've tried all 3 of them, yet I can't destroy a nest! Do I need a specific bomb? or have I got a game glitch?

Thanx nwpt. I guess there's someone who sells them in town? or the crafting diagram for them. I think I've been to all the merchants I can find and I don't remember seeing them listed. Any hints? :)

Thanx la_nague. The only outlet that fits is the dwarven smithy and he doesn't sell either bombs or crafting diagrams for grapeshot bombs. I've tried all the merchants in town and none of them have any! I could try the witch in the forest, but I doubt she'll have any. I think there must be a bug in my game coz I don't get a pointer on the Nekker contract either. Maybe if I could find the grapeshot bombs I'd get a pointer? As it's a side quest, I suppose it won't matter if I don't do it, and actually, I think I've already earned more money off the Nekker parts I've salvaged from several journey's throuh their territory! :)

you will not get a pointer you have to look around for the nests and try cedric for the grapeshot

You can buy the Grapeshoot recipe from Cedric.
You'll need 4 Grapeshoots and you have to look for the nests, there's no pointers.
The nests are the small holes where nekkers spawns when you get close and despawns if you run away. When you have some Grapeshoots, the game will tell you to press the left mouse when you are close to one nest. Just plant the bomb and run, the nekkers will not follow you.

Thanx guys, that's a real help! I've allready had some dealings with Nekkers and their nests, and the funny thing is that I got the left mouse prompt at the nests even though I didn't have the grapeshot. Which is why I've tried the other 3 types of bomb that I did have. The other weird thing is that I tried once, after I'd completed the Endrega contrat, but still got attacked by Endrega! I don't mind coz they're fairly easy to deal with and their parts are worth good orens, but it made me feel I hadn't really done a thorough job on their contract. :)
