The Witcher 2 Version?

Hey, I checked what version I was running of the game and it states 1.0.0, I thought Steam would update the game for me?

If anyone is wondering how I checked my version I did it trough; Steam\steamapps\common\the witcher 2. right click on the "Launcher" and properties.

So that means my version is 1.0.0.0, and Steam wont update? Sounds odd. What do you get when you check your version?

AFAIK 3.4 is RedKit patch. No gameplay improvements.

No. That means that this particular gameid is 1.0. EE version is 3.smth.

It' 3.4, i think

Steam copies of the game will be automatically patched to REDkit (Gamers' Edition).

FYI, next time you check file version, don't check launcher.exe.
That's version of launcher, not game version.

This time, check witcher2.exe under /bin.
It' say 0.0.0.0, though.
