Little Sisters Quest bug

I can't get Maverick to follow me at all. I go to the beach and there are no ghosts there so I can't do anything to advance this quest. Guess I have to give up having all the quests done unless any of you can give me a solution.

Okay, I tried again and this time I just walked straight along the edge of the beach and it eventually triggered the scene. Problem solved.

You don't have to have Maverick follow you at all, I just visited the area at night and the "sisters' appeared. Of course being a Witcher I seldom trust monsters, so after the tall tale on this encounter - I called the apparition a liar and dispatched the evil things - Quest completed. (also minimizes running back and forth).

Funny thing, quest is bugged when i try to get my reward from Maverick. Can't speak to any NPC at all anymore. What the heck is wrong with this Quest? >:(

Thanks a lot, it worked for me as well.

This quest seems to be known to be somewhat bugged. But walking along the waterline on the beach seems to eventually trigger the final cut scene where the final events take place.

Ohhhhh.... I figured it out. You have to run away from the beach, up on the left away from the house, that is where Maverick is standing. You have to exchange a few words with him. He will say he is not leaving until those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are dealt with, or something like that. Geralt will say something like "come on Maverick, let's not keep those specters waiting." THEN you run down to the beach and straight to the edge of where the water is. That will then trigger the cut scene. At least that is how it worked for me.
