I found it a good challenge, but I've always enjoyed games with precise combat, like Dark Souls.
Is it true that Dark isn't as difficult as Hard?
The weapon heals you as it deals damage, the armour is more resistant and gives more health than any other armour, its nearly game breaking.
Once you get used to dancing around its not that hard. Footwork is a must really, it makes it 10x easier.
Yeah, there is a mod to remove the 'dark aura' effect which I intend to try out.
Can I post links to mods? lol, such a n00b
For a first playthrough however, i don't know, you may get frustrated by the prologue, no skill points = basic signs and there is a lot of heavy units/shielded soldiers, they can be a problem, my best tip is Yrden all day, lol.
In the end, lot of patience and safe play will get you through Dark Mode no problem, so long as you understand the concepts behing the combat system.
