game crashing

game is crashing, usually during saving or loading but sometimes during the game itself. I have win 11. Is it a case? Steam is also crashing ,right after the game

game runs fine on my win 11. run game from game folder .exe and NOT from your steam library or an icon. sometimes an error msg appears not hidden by steam.

check windows event viewer and windows relaibility history. any error msg would help.

steam has a number of logs in folder
...\steam\logs
check the most recent logs after a crash and see if there is an error msg or something.

game crashes running a previous save? might be the save is corrupt. start a new game and see if problem repeats.

too many saves also cause this. either delete some or move them to another folder.
I do not know what the exact number is that causes the crashing but just keep the last 10-20 saves.

Yup i have hundreds of save in cloud but when i am trying to delete them or save a game like after 5 removed saves its crashing immedietely. I cannot do anything with steam aswell, its getin frozen.

I do not use steam cloud so best I can recommend is this link

hopefully something in there can get your steam working again.

might also look in folder
...\steam\logs
in file cloud_log.txt. might be an error msg to explain what the issue is

As @cheshirm told before. This issue caused by cloud saving. You have 2 options: 1) Turn off cloud save 2) Clear saves manually in game (if you already have more than... I think game crashed if you have ~50+ saves.).
I noticed if I have 5-10 saves with cloud sync - game crashes dissapearing.

P.s If you choose second option. When you will remove saves game also can be crashed. It disappearing at 20-50 saves

I've had issues with the game crashing on occasion (it happened with 1 as well) and I know that my steam cloud activated because lately, it always tells me it can't synchronize with steam cloud and asks if I want to proceed anyway - and I do. How do I turn off saving to the cloud?
