mine to get Vandergrift's sword
The mine to get Vandergrift's sword is locked for me and i cant open it, i have read things online but none of them are working for me, any help ?

I assume that you're on Roche's path, right?

Have you checked out Let's Play videos to ensure you're going to the right mine entrance?

You need to leave Vergen itself, and go via the side road (past the elves at the burnt down village) almost to the old quarry (where there's the hut with the person looking for Harpy feathers). There are two doors there - one will indeed be locked, and the other should be open and will lead to the mine.
