From what I read it involved a GOG bonus that's no longer available.

You have to win him thrice in a row, I think. I did this when the game first came out. He gave some useless (for me) gog bonus, I don't even remember what it was. It has no affect on the game, so I don't bother him as he's useless.

Continuity was right. It was a promotion for I forgot what item when the game launched. The monk doesn't give anything anymore.

God, I hate that guy so much... I don't remember the last time I screamed obscenities at a computer screen, but I did when he kept resigning for no reason whenever I had a chance of winning the "right" way.

That being after I played a hundred games trying to win with 5 of a kind, just to find out this is not what you need, so I went and looked it up. And before I learned that it just does not fudging happen anymore - so it never works.

Thanks for that, guys. Remind me never to do that to players. :p

they should have just pushed an update and removed this guy when the promo ended. He's completely unnecessary. there's plenty of other dice opponents and his dialogue just leads to confusion. .

Oh.. So I've been wasting my time.. Well at least I made 300 Orens.. I dislike promo stuff like this in games. Reminds me of the weapon locker in Doom 3, though at least the code for that still works. Stuff like this doesn't age well.
