I know excactly where I have NMM installed, where it has the mods files saved, where the Steam game files are and the default location Witcher saves the game but I can't find any Save Files anywhere.
The folder in C:/Users/<User name>/My documents/Witcher2/gamesaves is empty! And there is nowhere to be found any folder (in the install dir of either nexus, the withcer or the install dir of nexus' mods) that has the saved game files.
The funny thing is that when I start the game, all my saves are in place and can load them without any problems..
There's gotta be something I'm missing...
So, after I saw stcaFyInO's comment, I did a search in my drives for "20920". I know I had both in-game cloud and steam cloud disabled so I think it's curious to find the save files in my
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\415somethingsomething\20920\remote
I do know that when I played the game for the first time, both cloud save options where on for some reason. Maybe that's why it moved my saves to that folder.
So, the save files should either be in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\415somethingsomething\20920\remote
(asuming you have Steam installed to C:\
or at
C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\Witcher 2\gamesaves
Even more problematic, is that you not only have to shut down the game, but also Steam if editing the .INI; otherwise, Steam will revert your changes, every time you launch the game :O

I used NMM because I wanted to try a couple of texture replacement mods that had about a trillion files each, so I wouldn't be able to restore the vanilla game if I wanted. And, since I don't like NMM, because it still makes changes to the game's file directly, before using it I had already tried to use Mod Organizer (the bestestest of the bestest of the best mod organizing tool for Skyrim) to mod Witcher 2, but, as I figured out, it can't be used for that game :-(
Also, the video you found, it's Gopher's!!!! I love this guy! He's the best in explaining stuff and his playthroughs are awesome! Check his channel! I have seen the video you show me (as I believe I have seen more than two thirds of his channel's videos!!) Thanks!
