What can you do with the elf sword(s)

Question for you all,

I was wondering if there was something I could do with the elf blades? Those swords of the blue mountains they drop.

I have the superb short sword already without the upgrade slot used. So I have a sword that does more damage, and can do even more (possibly). But I do like the way those elf swords look. So I was hoping I could make them strech for a bit.

you can sell then, common drops are not really for you, the good elven swords you'll get a bit later (arachas area) and later chapters

I have it on Xbox, and I'm not sure if its any different, but I do know the swords you craft tend to look pretty awesome.
