can someone pls kill the kayran for me??

i'm at my wits end. YES i've seen the playthroughs and tips, somehow i can't get the traps timing right. i'm on sick leave from work and have been stuck on this for many hours. is it possible to send the save file and have someone kill the kayran for me?

If you don't use any cheats, mods, scripts etc. then upload your save before entering the Kayran-arena and post the link.

If you don't know where to upload your game then go to mediafire.c*om. You have to remove the * in .c*om; without the star the steam phishing filter removes the link. You have to sign up, but it's free.

Screw the traps, just go for Yrden.

There are YouTube videos that show how to do this. It's not that difficult if you make wise use of Quen to protect yourself and Yrden to trap the tentacles so you can chop them off. Stay to the the sides of the monster to avoid the poison spray.

Indeed - as soon as you know how to manage the Kayran-fight.

Btw.: It's no boss fight (it's a ballet of sorts) - but some kind of riddle: The player has to guess how he figures prominently in the choreography of the devs.

You need almost nothing - no potions, oils, no armor, no dodging/rolling - the cheapest silversword will do the job. The only thing which is very, very, very useful is the kayran trap - not as trap, but as signpost. Geralt knows exactly where he has to go.

So if you have real problems with the ballet then switch to "easy" and have a look at the appropriate video:

On easy Geralt will not loose much of his health when a tentacle hits him. But if he casts Quen before, he will not loose any LPs, even in dark mode:
