PS4 Controller Compatability?

I was just wondering if im able to use my ps4 controllerot play this game. Ive tried DS4 Xinput tool but it just couldnt pick up my controller in the game?

I am able to use my ps3 controller using scp-ds
Not sure if it will work for ps4 controllers though :

Having to remember what xbox buttons do what is a bit of a pain though and getting the sensitivity right is proving to be a challenge for myself at the moment.

Does it work via bluetooth? When i go to input settings through the launcher all pf the gamepad options are greyed out

PS4 gamepad works great with this (and any other game), wireless via bluetooth and with rumble.

You have to set the controls in the ingame settings to gamepad in order to use any gamepad.

You can change the sensibility in the user.ini file (my documents/witcher 2/config) like I did (I'm using 0.8):

IK_Pad_RightAxisX=(GameKey="GI_AxisRightX",Value=0.8)
IK_Pad_RightAxisY=(GameKey="GI_AxisRightY",Value=0.8)

Sadly, it doesn't work on Mac.

The camera just spins uncontrollably.

Which is a real shame, because as far as I could tell, every other button did exactly what it was supposed to.
I could re-align the camera by pressing down on the right analog stick, but when i let go, the camera just started rotating at a nausiating pace.

This is a little old, but I'm having the same problem as Soraz. Is there any fix?

If you are using DS4 WIndows but the pad is still not detected by the game, check if you have steam input enabled (Go to the library, select Witcher 2, click on Controller and make sure Steam Input is enabled. Have a good game :)
