How tf I fight the troll in Flotsam?

First your gonna want to get a silver sword (the dwarf smith in town should have a diagram and sell silver ore) During the fight take your time, attack a couple times then dodge back. If your worried about getting hit use Quen. Hope this helped.

you mean the Troll under the bridge? I would of taken the 'non-fight' approach and helped him instead. It's more rewarding anyway.

but regardless.. you'd need a silver sword. a steel sword is useless. pick one up from the blacksmith, and make good use of your potions & dodge and roll

Collect a lot of traps and place them in one spot, make the troll run over them, instant kill!

I did it on hard mode without the silver sword. just took my time and used aard and yrden
