Game Keeps Crashing
I wanted to play the game for second time but it keeps crashing. In the forums it is mentioned that deleting game saves might solve the problem. I already did that but it didn't solve the problem. Does anyone know any other way to solve this problem? Because I can't play the game even less for a hour.

If you verify game files that might fix it

When you say you deleted your saves, did you disable your 'steam cloud saves sync' feature first, because if you didn't, steam will automatically put those saves right back, and 'cloud' saves will ALWAYS load first, even if those cloud saves are corrupt. If you haven't already done that, try it. I had similar issues, and that fixed them for me.

Same with me. It crashes very often. All my drivers are updated and system is checked.
I also deleted the saves... does not help. Even reducing the Graphic settings does not help. Anyhow my system can easily handle the game in max settings. Anyone has an idea?

Thanks for the info and files. I replaced them but unfortunatly this does not help.

The Windows Eventlog tells me that "amdwddmg" was not reacting and was reset by windows. So when this happens i get my two screens black and after a short while i can play again with reseted Display Driver.

Hate to say it but you may need repair your windows install or do a fresh install.... total pain I know... I just started again after not playing since 2014...and it has been smooth sailing so far..

@Morgoth78 Sounds like an issue with you graphics card or display driver. Did you try updating your display drivers?

same here - new windows, new machine, can handle max settings easyly ... so i guess its not an issue of "savefiles" or "repair your windows" but a bug.
almost everytime when i trade or go through my inventory it crashes back to win10 desktop.

My windows install is around 8 weeks old and all drivers are updated. I also checked my windows installation with sfc /scannow. No Problems found.

i've talked to the devs via steam (yeah you can call out for support there) .. in my case there really was a newer graph-driver that at least solved the crash i could reproduce (buying stuff at a merchant ->esc -> crash) .. but then crashed at another part of the game

but it seems they are still patching things.
so talk to them. they will ask for details like dxdiag and such and make suggestions for testing.

not very polite though .. but i guess they have many people to talk to.

so -> reach out for them. maybe they have a solution.
