Farewell to the white wolf - Mod help (nexus mods)

Hi!

This is my first time trying to use any mod for a game so I am a little lost as to what to do.

I followed the instructions on nexus mods and manually downloaded the game mod but it doesn't seem to be working. I have the enhanced edition of the witcher 2 game so I presumed when the loading page opens and the section 'mods' is there you would end up clicking on this once the mod was set up properly to 'activate' it onto the game. Clearly I have done something wrong as nothing appears when I click the 'mod' section of the load up screen menu.

Am I just being thick and it may have already installed or does anyone have an idiots guide they don't mind typing out for me so I can follow it so it actually downloads properly onto my computer.
