How to beat the dragon?
I play Witcher II for story but now I face damn OP dragon and cant beat him. Do you have some usefull* advice? God mode cheat for example?

*You dont have to write me about rolling, L2P or loading older save to level and loot. It occured me too of course but it is last possibility.

Quen, rolling a lot and once she's throwing flames hit her with bombs/knives and especially your strong attack. Just did it myself, this worked for me
There is that specific option which is better to be turned off when facing monsters, but I can't remember its name...

Umm, play on easy difficulty. As far as i remember that dragon is not that hard compared to my first encounter with Letho at normal difficulty. The dragon have more predictable moves eather way. Basically high level quen, strong silver sword and timing are crucial.

First part of fight is simple, but second one on the top of tower is impossible to make for me. My rolling is too slow and I have not bombs or knives (never needed it). My silver sword make damage around 20.

20 is horribly low :D But still, it's all about timing. Stay as far away as you can from her when she's breathing fire and only go in for attacks once she's on the platform

Yes it is. :D Like I said - I play for story and until now this silver sword was absolutely OK. The dragon is just too OP for those who play only for story.

Well, you can ask people who still have save game file at that point with strong Geralt's stats and gears on easy difficulty. You're already near the end of the game anyway. I can't help you because I've deleted TW2 and all of it's save game files from my hard drive.

Use the dragonkind oil, +150% to dragons. If you can put 2 reptid armor enhancements it will turn incineration into vitality regeneration 5% for each piece. Dareslang runes will give you +50% chance to land critical hits for each rune. If you play for story you should have at least 2 by the end of chapter 3 when Enter the Dragon begins. There is a special activation trophy, I forgot its name.. you receive it for mainline quest reward but only grants +1 armor and some 1% bonuses but it has special relation to dragon race so if you wear it to Dragon fight you will get bonus cut-scene and easy fight =D

Load a save just before meeting Triss at theater. Go start sidequest for Daleweed's notes. If you find all 4 at Loc Muinne then you can craft, "The Gorky" silver sword and really make a time of it. In Dark Mode I used The Gorky and killed the Dragon in no less than 5 fast hits with only casting Quen once.

Not at all OP, if you're in the Alchemy build. If you're in the mage build, make sure to use a LOT of portions and blade oils. You can even use a talent reset mod to make an alchemy build which will end the Dragon fight in literally seconds.

In my opinion, even if you are playing game just for story you should never play on easy difficulty.

How I did this: keep Quen always enabled - dragon will instakill you if he hits you without Quen. Roll immediately after its attack(I had foot work level 2, though level 1 should be enough as well) to it, hit its head, roll back, repeat. If you are playing with all corresponding for Loc Muinne gear(at least a silver sword), not from previous chapters - it is a piece of cake. Alternatively people wrote that one can level up dagger ability in training tree to max and with 50-60 daggers just throw them in dragon until he dies - don't need to even approach it, but I didn't want to level up dagger ability and it is really really slow.
