alchemy build - eternal battle

hey everyone, so just out of curiosity, has anyone managed to beat the drauger boss dude in chapter 2 the eternal battle. i have decided to go full alchemist, to make picking pretty flowers more fun and worthwhile, however, any buffs you apply run out before you get to face this boss, so i am essentially trying to beat it with a level 1 character almost. just wondered what techniques people may have employed to beat it other than..well...getting good. cheers people, happy self isolation

The key to this fight is Yrden; out of the box is sufficient:

If this is too difficult for your Geralt then try it with Aard: hit hit hit Aard hit and so on:

Attack continuously, else the Draug finds time to bother you. Severely.

thank you both for the replies. so i ended up using yrden followed up by heavy attacks. absolute piece of cake. thanks so much. i am now in to chapter 3 and loving it, story has really ramped up. cheers again
