TW2 vs TW2 Enhanced Edition
I started the original Witcher 2 on xbox 360 last summer just before my career as a PC gamer began, and thought it was fun but don't remember anything about the graphics.

I was coming off of TW3 on PS4, and decided to go back and play TW2 on xbox 360 for the story.

But then I wanted to play TW1, so I said screw it (I'd been wanting to go PC for awhile but was hesitant financially, it's tough to make that initial PC plunge but I'm so glad I did), paid the steep price and bought a good PC. Havent played a console since.

But anyway, I bought TW2 Enhanced Edition, and I'm blown away at the graphics of this game. It looks absolutely beautiful. I have a good GPU so I'm at Ultra, and I just am shocked. I just don't remember it looking this good first time around. Granted, I was on 360 and wasn't playing enhanced version, but still, the difference seems strking.

My question is: Is there really a huge difference between the original TW2 and the enhanced version, or is the difference I'm experiencing soley due to 360 vs PC?

There is quite a bit of stuff in TW2EE compared to vanilla: new quests, new cinematics, new cutscenes, bugfixes and a lot of other improvements Here's[witcher.wikia.com] a full change list.
And by the way they did release EE for x360 as well.

I recommend checking Borderlands 2 / Pre-sequel (since you already have them) with PhysX on, it's kind of stuff you'll never see on any console and I bet you'll be surprised even more.

I would say its kind of down to both. Though I suspect stilll the biggest factor is the difference between the xbox 360 and the pc. The pc version I would imagine your running at least in 1080p while the 360 is at 720p, on top of which everything from texture quality, filtering, shadows, are generally much higher quality on the pc. Then you have things like AA which again is higher on the pc. Also the draw distance is superior on the PC,

So the bulk of the difference I would say is down to simply its the pc version. However you skipped the normal pc version and jumped to the enhanced version.

This is clearly superior to the standard pc version too. so you basically get a double whammy.

The X360 version *IS* the enhanced edition. It's simply that ... really, both versions of the game are different.

The PC version of course is a powerhouse, better texturs, higher LOD, better Depth of Field, lightning, etc. The console versions looks pretty awesome given how awesome Witcher 2 looks, except the console version uses a different lightning engine compared to the PC version. So you are actually lucky you got to play both versions.

But about the EE vs OE, knowing that the EE has new stuff, like Graphics and Quest and so on, would it be harder to run the EE rather then the OE? Just for curiousity

it depends on settings. On the lowest settings it runs on the same systems as the OE, but with EE there are higher options you can select over the original, so if you select the highest options with EE they do require higher hardware specs than with original.
