Help with the Golem fight

This punk ass golem before Phillipa's house is kicking my ass every single time. Yrden doesn't seem to work on it as it keeps attacking even if I try to trap it. Aard can barely stun it for 0.5 sec or something. Barely 3 strikes of his are enough to kill my Geralt. How do I defeat it?

You can either keep hitting him the conventional method, or try to kill him by activating the 3 pillars when he is between them. Luring him in and doing it quick enough without getting yourself hit by lightning is the tricky part though, just get it over with. Good luck!

The three pillars? There aren't any three pillars in the golem fight before Phillipa's house. That was in The Witcher 1.

Use quen to shield yourself and bait the gollem to rush onto the wall, dodge and it will stuck in there for a moment. Attack its back with silver sword plus some attack potions and or enhancements (+10 attack potions plus some brimstones or falka's blood-or something like that, i forgot their names-with 2 fire runes surely helps a lot). If it isn't die yet, roll back far away and repeat. Just remember not to cornered yourself when baiting, golems hit box is pretty wide. Oh, don't go to the alley under Phillipha's house, it's so thight you can't roll pass the golem if you get cornered in there.

Just use yrden to stun him and heavy attack a few times. Keep that till he dies and he'll pretty much never get a chance to hit you
