Where did Triss go????

So I just arrived in Flotsam and took the Kayren job. I went outside the town to talk to Cedric and Triss came with me. We talked to Cedrick and when I was done I turn around and see Triss walking through a portal.

WTF?

I went back to the Inn thinking she was just lazy but she isn’t there so what gives? where did she run off to and why didn’t she give me a heads up? what’s up with that Marigold? I chose you over Shani and this is the way you play?

Yes, she's a sorceress; they love to take portal shortcuts. Geralt on the other hand detests them.

While you are working on quests at Flotsam, she's mostly hanging out with Zoltan and Dandelion at the inn bar.

Every since she took that portal, she has been absent from the Inn. I have checked several times and see Zoltan and Dandelion but no Triss.

I cannot truly tell what stage of progress you're currently at. Perhaps one quest requires her to be somewhere else, I cannot remember. I suspect you aren't working on the quest to explore the elven ruins with her yet. Unless it's some rare bug.

Most of the time she's right there with the rest of the gang. Perhaps review your quest log details; that may offer some clues on next actions/locations to explore.

She's probably headed over towards where you will later find the Kayran so you can can check the area out. She probably waiting near the ruined bridge at the top of the path down.

I have not been to the site of the Kayren yet. but I have been by the bridge for the Troll quest, she was not around.

No it's not that bridge. It's the bridge at the top of the path to the Kayran.

Gotcha. well I will keep my eyes open. But really, the girl could have given me a heads up.

In this point of the game Triss is waiting for you in the Kayran's Liar, just select The Kayran mission and follow the marker on your minimap.
