Adrenaline Button?

Before anyone posts the "is it plugged in" question, yes, I've reached the end of the warrior tree. But, I can't for the life of me figure out what button is pressed to activate adrenaline. It's not X, clearly.

I'm just asking this since you didn't say this, but is the adrenaline bar filled up completely?

Yes, and flashing a big ol' X at me. It seems I don't know what the condition is for this, as Berserk tree has been taken since then and THAT worked with X.

Are you perhaps trying this on monsters or humans/nonhumans?

I tried with a bit of both, who ever could come running up to me. I just stand there, and get gob smacked as I press it. Nothing happened and I've wondered if I pressed the right button until Mutant tree was filled.

Well you can't actually use it on monsters at all whether they are humanoid or not (at least from my experience). You must have your sword out, and maybe try doing a few swings first and then trying to press X

Finally figured it out with a rotfiend, so it does work on monsters. Just had to smack them first and as I hit, X em.

Yeah I just went back to it myself and adrenaline killed a monster, my bad I was wrong.
