Bug in Act 2's "Little Sisters" Quest

Long story short, it appears the quest is soft-locked.
There are no barrels over the trap door and it cant be interacted with at all, going in the hut does not update the quest, looking at all of the graves does not update the quest, and the ghost won't appear again. I don't know how I can continue the quest without getting Mavrick killed.

I've done things so far in this order:
Got the quest from Mavrick
Went into the hut
Looked at the graves
Talked to the ghost
Talked to Liva

I now have three quest markers, one for the graves, one for the beach, and one for the hut.
Any info/fixes are appreciated

Closest one is an autosave from over half an hour before the quest, and I'm not willing to go back that far

Have you tried talking to Mavrick again? I've just done this quest and that's the next step.
Did you look at all 4 graves so you got the closeup?
Have you been back to the hut now you've spoken to Liva to see if the barrels are there?

Personally I spoke to Liva before going to the hut the first time.

You will still get left with some markers at the beach and graveyard when you go and talk to Mavrick, even if the quest is working.

Don't mention they blame him if you want the best reward, just get him to help you. You will arrange to meet him an hour before midnight so if you talk to him during the day you can get back to the hut early and scout around again.
