Need help SPOILER Triss or Anais
Hi everyone,

---------------------------------------------SPOILER ALERT---------------------------------------------

I follow quite closely the witcher wiki to accomplish the most of my playthrough on Witcher 2. I chose Roche's path, killed that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of Henselt and I just arrived in Act 3. I know that eventually I will have to choose between saving Triss or saving Anais. Here's my dilemma:

- Triss is hot and I'm playing in a way that I will be with her in Witcher 3 as well. So legitimely I feel it is the choice I should go for.

-However, Anais is jsut a child. I worry for her future if I let Roche save her only.

Thus I ask all witcher fans to give me their PRO/CON reason to save Triss OR Anais. I am notably interested in the impacts that this choice will have on Witcher 3, since I will import my W2 saves there.

What will happen to Anais if I don't save her? What will Triss mention of me if I dont save her?

Also, what about Dethmold? When will he meet his end if I don't save Anais?

Please let me know. Thank you all!

For simplifcation I will try to do a CON/PRO for every possibility:

---> Saving Anais:

PRO:

1. Killing Dethmold

2. Allows a better future for the child or Roche depending on the subsequent decision (if Child is given to Radovid, or give her to Natalis)

3. Save Temeria from a downfall (but that's not really Geralt's concern)

CON:

1. A witch hunt ensues, leading to massacre and rapes of sorceresses

---> Saving Triss:

PRO:

1. We avoid a witch hunt.

2. Triss is hot.

CON:

1. Dethmold is still alive.

2. Roche is outlawed.

3. Temeria is split in baronies (but still Redania, isn't taking over yet)

Feel free to add elements if you know any. Thank you

I personally think getting witch hunt started is not so bad. It comes down to me seeing powerful mages eventualy forming second lodge(history repeats itself). So getting rid of magic in general is a good thing for me. On the other hand Letho was ordered by emperor(emp. promised Letho to help witcher race by building snake sign academy-snakes can track wild hunt) to destabilize northetn kingdoms so I don't know if I should help northern kingdoms even more than by killing Henselt and actually stabilizing them(save anais). Or help emperor/Letho so witchers are no longed considered foreigns(at least by law assuming emperor didn't lie) Didn't play W3 yet so correct me if I am wrong.

Witches will be hunt anyway and Triss is a traitor so I would choose the girl and Jenifer(joking) is much more lovely to Geralt

I pllayed both version. Eventually saving Triss on Roche's side is the best. On Iorveth side though, saving Saskia is the best.

Since there is no perfect path to make everyone satesified anyway (both Roche's and Iorveth's plot has no perfect ending for every character, In Roche's line, Upper Aedirn will be conquered by Kaedwen no matter what you choose, and in Iorveth's line, Temeria will be splited by Redania and Kaedwen), why don't you just follow your heart and make your own decision instead of taking opinion from others? That's role play~!
