What I've taken to is chapter 3, where I can engage outnumbered the Order of Flaming Rose camp or international camp in Loc Muinne. They weren't designed to be conquered since their armour are so thick and they keep respawning, but so fun tackling them. Stalled the game just to engage in pointless combat and practise my swordsmanship.
Quite reminiscent to NieR Automata endless waves of level 99 enemy androids that "prevented" players from wandering away from the (part 3) main story. They were the most enjoyable bunch of opponents to engage instead of the actual enemies in the game.
So I'm having to replay the prologue and chapter 1 all over again before I can make the decision to stick with Roche this time round. Meantime also bumped the difficulty to hard.
Do you want to have a "At a Crossroads"-savegame instead?
Also a chance to take alternative minor paths like opting to duel Aryan La Velette, etc.
