Push block falls into the floor (1-8)

I've run into a weird issue in the first bosslevel, 1-8. Often, after restarting the level, when you move the pushable block into the pit, it drops a few pixels lower than the bottom of the pit. This means that when you land on top of it, you can't crawl to the right - the passage is out of reach.

The same has happened in 7-1; the pushblock falls too far down, which prevents the moving platform from raising, and just the laser (that's normally underneath the platform) rises by itself.

In both cases, quitting to the menu and re-entering the level solved the issue.

The quit and reload doesn't work for me, tried it about 8 times now.
