Solutions To Low FPS (confirmed)
Here are sure fire ways to improve your overall singler player/MP experience:

1) Make sure you're not on a laptop. Why? Laptop uses DIMM memory which has a higher latency than traditional DDR3 for desktop. If you absolutely must use a laptop because it's your only gaming PC read on because the other options apply...

2) Turn off anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering. Why? Because this game doesn't need upscaled unless you're on very low/low settings and on lower resolutions.

3) If you're on a decent to high end gaming PC with video cards released this year set to 1080p and set textures to high, should run fine no problem in both single player and multi-player. If you still experience lag set ambient occlusion to low, this setting is very resource intensive.

4) If you've tried these changes and still experience lag set your resolution to 720p and try to set your textures to high with anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering turned on. The game looks absolutely gorgeous and you can typically run in with ambient occlusion on high.

5) I have also found turning active sync off and setting boardless window helps a ton and I have seen lossless framerates on extreme settings with 60 to 70fps.

There's nothing wrong running the game in 720p with higher/extreme settings to really pull the most out of the engine. Yes, the resolution is lower but if it enabled you to see the incredible amount of detail as intended then you should give it a try!

What you have to understand is that this is a very revamped game engine, this is not BlackOps 2 engine. It uses more RAM than 2GB, the 2GB is a resting/waiting state. Active with action, explosions, particle effects and ambient occlusion; I'm confident this game could easily warrant 32GB. I'm not kidding, that's just how much is going on in the engine.

If you doubt it, it's probably because your PC can't run it or your perception is that the graphics are lower/less than other games on the market because you don't have enough power to see what the game is really supposed to look like...

Here's what I'm running and I can push high/extreme settings pretty easily:

AMD APU a10 5800k
Discreet graphics card for APU/GPU Crossfire
16GB RAM
64-bit OS

In multiplayer I get a smooth 60fps, if you're getting lower than 60fps try running in 720p. If that increases your fps than you either need to upgrade your hardware to push higher settings or settle with that because this is a game engine that's going to scale for newer and better hardware that comes out over the next three or four years at least.

I am running at 76 FPS but still the game drops FPS on random occasions down to 40~30 or below. I've got all maxed out but even on lower and "the optimal settings" it doesnt change anything. Even though the game turn EVERYTHING to the bare minimum on the optimal settings, which I consider an insult to my PC.

Tried everything, doesn't fix anything. My main issues while playing multiplayer is FPS drops, and flashing textures. I can't even play when I am in a game with flashing textures.

For single player, my game would constantly crash upon death.

I typically leave sync off and run in boardless window.

9/10 it's the config. I have also found turning active sync off and setting boardless window helps a ton and I have seen lossless framerates on extreme settings with 60 to 70fps.

i7 2600
8GB
HD 7790

Multiplayer's running poor but I do not know if that is more because of lag; the campaign is running OK except for the texture flickering.
