I had a quick peek on the steam store page to see what the metacritic score for the game was and to my suprise there wasnt a link. When i actually got round to seeing it i was suprisingly shocked how high the critic score was (some cash splashed the critics way maybe :/ ). But imho the user score shows what the online community think of the game.

Cant remember how low WarZ got before Steam stepped in. But 1.7 is shockingly low.

1646 user votes. Even if 10per cent were bf4 fans that wouldnt change much. I used to be a cod fan boy but this game is truly broken & rightly deserves a low score in its current state. Theres no saying it wont be fixed but atm the score is justified.

Just had a peek a bf4 and thats sitting at 63% I suppose they ghosts crew dragged that score down?

User metacritic scores are prone to Type II errors and this is a prime example.

Also look histoircally MW3/Bo/BO2 have ALL had mystically low USER scores that are totally out of line with the quality of the product.

Look at Amazon. it was review bombed for AC2 for the online requirement, by people WHO DID NOT OWN THE GAME.

Ergo it is a VERY VERY poor indicator of the quality of a product. A low USER score doesn't actually tell you anything. And the own historical data from other titles shows a similar issue.

So yes it is uncalled for and it is what the intellectually lazy do when they don't have an actual poitn to make. Any mroe than 'console port' are the weasel words of the intellectually lazy as well.

Have not a single problem with the game in any mode or choice. SP is not bad and MP is nice. ♥♥♥♥ metacritic :P

So these games with thier low user meta critic scores are all "WarZ" territory?

Don't make the comparision if you're ONLY going to use Metacritic as a criteria. WarZ had a whole host of issues, and the User metacritic isn't part of what those issues were.

Your arrogance and utter defamation of the word “intelligence” makes me laugh, and for that, I thank you! I needed some comedy today. I super exceed the recommended specs, the game runs badly and very inconstantly, and it does so for thousands of users, the evidence is all around, in youtube videos, in chat forums where thousands point out optimization flaws one after another.

This game is quite possibly the worst optimized port in recent years and you have absolutely no ground for defending it, unless you coded this mess. Feel free to argue who is intellectually lazy and I will continue to laugh at your complete lack of intelligent reasoning, if anything you are below the level of human being I would want to interact with and or have an objective discussion with.

And again feel free to tell me again HOW this compares to WarZ in any way shape or form? WarZ had many OTHER problems such as, massive misrepresentations on the store page, misrepresented screen shots, reused and potentially stolen assets, etc.

Simply 'being unoptimized' doesn't put the game in WarZ territory at all. Not to mention there are far far far worse game launches than this like SotS2, Elemental, Legend of Pegasus.

Throwing out WarZ comparision, without context and without any regard is again simply intellectually lazy. You're relying on the comparision alone to 'make your point' without actually correlating WHY WarZ was revoked and making relative comparisons to Ghosts. Because THAT would actually require work.

Its good to see that trolls such as yourself always have to resort to personal attack in order ot 'make you point' since of course arguing actual points would be far too difficult to do. You don't actually make any points other than 'the game is not optimized' which even if we make the gigantic assumption that's true, that's a far cry from "It's another WarZ" where 'not optimized' was by far the LEAST important criteria as to why it was pulled from Steam.
