Sniper scope lag ?

So when I snipe and use the scope I notice it's a bit laggy, does anyone else have this and know how to fix it ? Thanks.

Its because of the dual render. Te only way I can think of to lessen it would be to turn your settings down, or improve your PC

the only way i could fix it was when i launch the game i tab out press ctrl, alt, delete go get into task manager and i set priority from high to normal on cod ghost process and it stopped for me anyways.

Don't worry, it's not your pc. This game is just not made to run on the PC. Either wait for them to fix it or find a better game to play. I assure you there's alot of games better than this one.

People coming with the "get a bette PC" argument have IQ deficiency. An XBOX 360 with ancient hardware does not have FPS drops with the dual render BS, but our high end PCs have. Come on people stop defending this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port.

Same for me with first Marksman rifle with scope. My rig is good enough to handle most stuff (ivy bridge i5, 16GB ram, 2xssd in raid 0, gtx680 sli). I tried turning down AA and using lower quality graphics, dof and blur and distortion already off. Tried all the optimization stuff, that is the only thing wrong with the game at this point for me.

Have had hell with this scopelag and finaly i found a solution that works alot better for me. Try changing maximum pre-rendered frames to 1. Mine was set to 3d which made my card work to hard when scope came up.. Btw i have a Nvidia 670gtx so i dont know if it works on amd cards

This is just crap, i bought this game only to quickscope. than to find out sniping on pc is 1.8x as slow as on console. and also the scope lag is undoable i got an AMD card. and it looks like its a game error i got a hi end pc even when i put evrything on its lowest i got scope in lag. when i play on max settings and i go spray etc.. no problem at all. but i only want too snipe and they nerved that sht so much no wonder they get 2-4k players at a good day. wat a horrid ameteur gaming experience this is. Like giving away free money on the street except this is a part where they rip u off lol.

I had it installed on an External HDD USB3.0 and was getting loads of frame rate drops while ADS in sniper scopes but reinstalled it on internal drive and was fine after that. I am not sure why though... (all other games run fine without performance hits from my external HDD....)

I made the mistake of installing Ghosts on an external USB 3 drive. SP didn't work at all and MP seemed to play OK. When I finally found out that putting it on an external drive caused the problem. I moved it to an internal one and SP worked fine. I also found out I was missing a lot of audio playing MP and was amazed at how much chatter there is from Squad mates that I didn't hear before.

I have lag problems with some sights as well. It only seems to happen with the more complex ones, such as Target. Every time I look down the sights, I get a slight freeze. The "simpler" sights never cause me a problem, which is very strange.
