Anyone else agree, I mean 1 hit kill from a 5 kill streak wtf!!!

Well, there's a very simple solution to that. I've heard people are complaining that some maps are too big. They are finding it somewhat hard to find people in the time limit. Just increase the length of the match and/or allow larger lobbies like in BF games.
But it wouldn't feel like CoD anymore :/

Well, if you want the same CoD feel time and time again, you might as well play BO, MW3, and/or BO2. I was expecting major improvements/innovations in the gameplay of Ghosts based on the adverts. Instead, what I got was a rehash of previous title with only mediocre improvements. I think I'm done after Ghosts. There is no point in getting future CoD titles.
Of course they're OP. Takes an entire magazine from the SMG class with damage upgrades straight into the head, neck, and chest of an oncoming dog to take it out. 1 for 1, streak for streak, I get more dog kills than Trinity kills. Now of course the Trinity can be used to prevent an objective from falling into enemy hands but still it requires more kills to obtain and becomes less functional with a lot of overhead cover protecting the enemy.
My biggest issue with dogs is how they come at you through barriers, walls, and you never hear them til it's too late. For how many bullets you have to pump into them, they need to be more audible and not be an insta-kill within 10 meters.

I liked them how they were in previous games...fast and hard to shoot up-close, but with precise knifing you could get them.
I've knifed a dog and gotten a hitmarker.

Yeah much like the lunging panic knife the dogs are in need of a much deserved nerfing. Both the dogs and the panic knife have an animation that, once started, cannot be countered or even stopped.

If you can't outmaneuver or outgun me and you're within a country mile of me you have your dog do your dirty work or spam E? Seems a bit cheap.

Of course. But it won't do that accurately every time and it certainly won't do that from 10 yards away due to a preset animation that can neither be countered nor prevented.

Dogs are rather ridiculous. I feel the devs added them in as fanservice without thinking too much to gameplay.
I agree dogs are OP. I put a good 5-6 AK bullets in it before it killed me. Another time I shot a dog with the L115 sniper. It didn't kill the dog. You can't even melee the dogs, which you should be able to.

In its current state, it should definitely require a higher amount of kills.
Yeah exactly the knife is so anoying you can get knifed from miles away!

and someone getting a kill from a panicked action, knife or gun doesn't matter, it still a legitimate kill and is not subject to the victim judging it and deciding that it shouldn't happen beause it was out of panic or you THINK it was out of panic. Too bad. Get over it. You died. It happens. No one cares if you think it shouldn't have happened to you.

Hadn't realized you played with me in every single game... ever. So apparently you know how it works and how it's been utilized thus far. Enlighten us oh dalai lama of cod.

I can't slow time and dodge rounds but if you lunge at me with a knife I can sure as hell turn it around on you. The animation is the issue here. Not the knife. The animation is unavoidable, unstoppable, and given that the knife is a guaranteed kill.

Players should need to actually jab it or swing it in the direction of other players to cause damage or kill. Animations doing the work for you is what makes it cheap and in need of a nerf.
The dog is made for CQB and is ment to be able to take shots. If it died in 3-4 bullets it would be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ kill streak. The dog's counter is range.
I'd have PETA on my ass in a heartbeat if we did this but I can guarantee a dog wouldn't survive as well if you took one out back and ran the test. Do people regenerate health after being shot? Hell no. This isn't a simulation. We all get that. The dog's counter should be speed and elusiveness. Instead of running at you in a straight line, eating 30 rounds, then lunging when within 10 yards or so the dog should run some sort of zig zag pattern, have much more speed since they are rather slow, take much less rounds to kill, and have multiple forms of attack. The animated lunge needs to go. Let them cause damage to people by biting their arm, leg, hand, etc. which would force them to hip fire or move slowly. If the dog does attack a vital organ instead of the arm, leg, hand, etc. then the player should be able to counter it. Animations cheapen multiplayer game play.

And for the record it's a 5 kill streak. It's shouldn't be terrible but come on. Who cares if it's a "♥♥♥♥♥♥ kill streak?" 5 kills. What do you want? A MOAB?
