What is the message are you getting when trying to play multiplayer? Because I used to get this problem before. The solution to this problem is the following:

Verifying Your Game Files

If you're encountering issues with launching or playing Call of Duty: Ghosts, make sure everything installed correctly.

Aside from verifying your game cache and checking your connection with Steam, you may also need to manually run secondary installers required by this game.

Exit Steam entirely.

Browse to your Call of Duty: Ghosts installation folder (Usually C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty: Ghosts\)

Run the following installers:

...\Steamapps\common\Call of Duty: Ghosts\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010\DXSETUP.exe
...\Steamapps\common\Call of Duty: Ghosts\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2012\vcredist_x64.exe
...\Steamapps\common\Call of Duty: Ghosts\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2012\vcredist_x86.exe
...\Steamapps\common\Call of Duty: Ghosts\_CommonRedist\DotNet\4.0\dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe

Reboot your computer and test the issue again. If the issue persists, you will need to contact Call of Duty: Ghosts Support.

But if you are banned permanently from the game well obviously this will not work. But you said you are sure. Anyways try this and let me know about your result.

I verified my game already. And yesterday ı reinstalled COD:Ghost i installed that you write still doesn't work. When i click Online Play in multiplayer it says Connecting to Online Services. And after 1 min it says Eror. The Call of Duty: Ghosts server is not avaiable at this time. Please try again later or visit http://www.callofduty.com/ghosts/status for updates. As i said Im pretty sure its not about my VAC bans.I know what they are. Thanks for answers by the way.But still i cant play game online.

Have you tried just shutting down Steam, then just restarting Steam? That works for me when I get that message.

Anyone Help?

Hello everyone,

I had the same problem so I'm posting the solution (after all these years ^^' )

I reinstalled the game on Steam but still had the same problem.

In fact, after uninstalling the game, there are still game save files in <your_steam_folder>\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Ghosts

You must delete the players2 direcotry and the main directory which will still be present.

Don't be afraid of losing your saves. With the steam cloud, everything is backed up

So I deleted this directory after my second uninstallation, then reinstalled the game and everything works again !

Good game everyone :)
