ERROR - COD GHOSTS HAS STOPPED WORKING

Hi.Plz help.When i start my game both single player and multiplayer the game crashes/fails to launch and gives an error message "Call of duty Ghosts has stopped working" WTF? I feel i seriously wasted my time buying this game...

intel core i7 920, 12gb ddr3 ram, xfx ati hd4890.running windows vista 64bit.everything is overclocked.let me know if u need more info as i cant even start the game :(

You do not meet the minimum requirements for the game. Your graphics card does not support DX11.

yea that does not matter.my card runs dx 10.1. the game should work on dx9 and dx10 cards on low/medium settings.Irrespective the game should work.There has to be something else thats the problem.i know ppl with better gfx cards having the same problem....Battlefield 4 runs great on my PC, how can this game not work? this is so lame!!! I regret buying this game.this will be the last COD i buy!!! so angry :(

SAME......My computer says im running DirectX 11 and i can run Battlefield 4 so why shouldnt i be able to play this game!?

I have,windows 7 64bit, gtx 760 graphics card, 8 gig ram, nearly 10 terra bites hard drive, AMD 9950 quad core 2.6ghz, and after double tapping the game iether in multiplayer or single player they they start up then fail almost immediatly, in other words they do not start up at all.
Are there any patches or upgrades as yet and if not can we get our money back and if not then i think this game and all people that have it and can't use it should go viral and rubbish these con people who sell games they know won't work.

I for one feel very conned at this moment, i have played a lot od cod games in the past and never had this sort of issue with it, I have got BF4 and that works perfectly and what a great game that is too, shame i can't experience even seeing the game, all i have is 4 coffee coasters at this present time.

Disable any overlay programs, Steam overlay, raptr, fraps, dxtory, etc

i can run the game, a message appears it says, error unknow, i have an i3 4 gb ram, 2.96 ghz, ATI radeon 6670 1gb and windows 7, anybody has a solution?

So i can play ghosts till i get to the end of mission 13, single-player /The game quits sometimes gives a directx error or just a game error or just a crash window sending info to windows to fix problem. So lots of people have the same problem but theres crashes at differnt times .So far multi is ok never had a crash.Tried the setting priority to normal,turn off overlay in steam set the video display to single none of it works.PLEASE HELP

Killing the Steam overlay fixed it for me, surprised I hadn't seen this in any posts before now. Considering this was released on Steam nice to know it's compatible w/ Steam overlay ;p
