[Spoilers] Sin City Opening Scene
Hey guys, I've been recently powering through the ghosts campaign on veteran and have been having a blast... up until I hit the scene in the mission Sin City where you're tied up with your fellow ghosts and a button prompt comes up to press.

For me the prompt is the Press F and a Hand Symbol and I must be severely missing something cause it's causing some much unneeded frustration as I continue to be baffled by the mysterious hand button.

If any of you guys out there know how to continue past this small section I'd be eternally thankful and no doubt feel like a complete idiot over it.

Gonna bump this in the vain hopes that it'll survive the barage of spam about the same rage topic preventing anything else being discussed.

I've got the same problem...I've made a video with this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raWUINuqqNI
I have been trying to get past this Sin City cut scene myself for 2 days now, but, nothing happens when I press the F key at the prompt. I've tried assigning a different key to the "use" function to no avail. I have had no concerns with these prompts prior to this. So, what is wrong???!!!

its the USE key that you use to pick up new weapons or get more ammo. If you have rebound that then you need to hit that key. It just takes a little spamming

That's weird, I just did this mission fine. Maybe you have to press it faster on Veteran.

Yes, the default being F, but, because it does nothing when I press F I thought I would trry assigning another key to see if that would work, but, no change; it just refuses to work. So, I reassigned it back to the default F. I am completely frustrated; don't knoww what to do. Windows 8.1 Pro x64.

I do press as fast as I can and right away.
Well, I guess I'll just have to shelve the game. After two days of fruitless efforts I don't see the point of continuing to try. I never play these in multiplayer, so,..........
Try mashing the key instead of pressing it once.
I mash it as fast as I can never just pressing it once...thing is these key prompts have worked fine all through the game until now and this particular cutscene on veteran. The only fix so far is to downgrade the difficulty level to hardened. Once I did that it worked fine. I've run into this once before with a Ubisoft game-forget which one now-were I had to lower the difficulty to make the key prompts work and be able to progress. So, I don't know....how can they work fine all the way through until this cutscene?

Coming back to the thread to say I finally did get past it by making a macro to repeatedly spam the F key every .01 seconds. The Macro actually failed the first time aswel which worried me but on the scond attempt I just let it run while spamming every button on my keyboard and managed to progress just fine after that.
The method should be easily reproduceable with a program like auto hotkey, ect. Though it's quite silly that this quick time event has some exetreme level of difficulty when compared to the rest
Would it be possible to share that macro Slipskip?

I built it within Rzer Synapse, so unles you've got a razer product of some sorts I'm afraid I wont be able to help out sorry :s
OK, thanks anyways; glad you were able to solve your concern. Too bad the single player is so short. What ever happened to providing substantial content like the games of old...I guess all the developers are cashing in on the MP and figurre single player is not important. This and B4 are the same in that respect....a lot of cash to pay if you don't MP. but, absolutely beautiful to play.
