Screen Resolution
OK so apparently they screwed this up again, no matter what resolution you select it defaults it back when a match start. MW3 had the same problem and you had to select "native"- I don't see an option for that now. Anybody have any suggestions?

ok what res are you trying to set
GoFloof Nov 5, 2013 @ 9:26am
go here on your pc C:\Program Files\STEAM\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Ghosts\players2

your looking for the 2 files named config.cfg and config_mp.cfg

open them in notepad be shure to uncheck always open with this program when you do.

your looking for
seta r_displayMaxHeight "put height here"
seta r_displayMaxWidth "width here"

save then launch the game and select your res from the menu and accept as it will now be available.

Well interesting... I was able to get it to work on Multiplayer, however Single Player is still crapola. I adjusted the same values, but it defaults back everytime you start squad or campaign

i tried it but still couldnt get my 3840x1080 resolution and when i put in the changes and launched the game the image was stretched significantly

You probably realized ths but I did it backward the first time. Height was listed first so mine needed to be 1200 then 1920.

my resolution still appeared to be stretched

KEVG, the guy doing the youtube video either doesn't realize his screen resolution is not changed or is not running the "extra" settings. Mine looked just like this and I thought this is crap. Then I realized MW3 did the same thing to me. MYRKEN told me how to configure the cfg file- it still actually acted weird at first, some people are saying you have to start the single player campaign first for it to change the settings. Anyway I configured both single player and multiplayer files, saved each, then went in and chose my settings on single player- you have to select "extra" or the game looks like crap. Yes it is ridiculous-I can't think of any game I have bought except these that have this problem. Anyway if you get it working it does look pretty darn good.

i did what you said but my resolution is still stretched

N3on don't know what to tell you man. I'm not running dual monitor setup so my situation is not exactly the same.

well i dont really mind playing on one screen but for a 2013 to 2014 game they shouldve made it compatible with nvidia surround and eyefinity
