Split Screen Multiplayer

Why do developers assume that PC players don't have any friends in real life? One of the best things about the console versions of COD is the ability to take a friend online and play multiplayer in split screen.

Why do they refuse to develop this feature for the PC version? We should have the ability to play extinction mode and competitive MP in split screen considering PC's are more powerful than consoles...

Black Ops 3 has split-screen on PC btw, shame they decided to remove it again from COD:IW. screw that guy that said PC is not meant for the living room, if he saw my mini-itx gaming pc that sits under my new 4K TV with the choice of using any controller he wouldnt be saying that, atleast we can actually achieve higher framerates and resolutions for split-screen which makes PC the best platform for split-screen. Lots of console games including Gears 4 reduce the framerate to 30FPS in split-screen and i for one cant deal with slideshow performance like that.

I'm nercoposting but that guy saying adding split screen is dumb, there's a few people like me who want to play split screen 10 years later where computers can definitely render that, split screen on PC games won't be utilized often but it'll make the people who do want it days.
