Campaign: First mission glitch

I have a problem with the campaign first mission. When the son and father run up the hill they don't talk or even make a sound, no subtitles either. When i come to a certain point after runing for like 30 seconds they just stand still and look from left to right and if i run to far away from them the mission fails saying "You were left behind". Is anyone else having this problem? And i confirmed that they should be talking while running up the hill from watching youtube on other people playing the campaign. Please tell me if someone knows any information on how to fix this or just to wait for a patch. Thanks

- FIXED: I reinstalled the game in the same harddrive as my OS and it worked! you guys should try it aswell! Please leave a comment if it works or doesn't! Perhaps we could find diffrent solutions then.

Sounds good to me :) I just want to play the game I payed for. Not just run around with no in game voices on one little part of the game until they decide to take a break and stand by the gate next to the burning house.

YES they're talking.
- I don't have THIS issue, but I have other, simmilar ones with the voice. When there is another voice or sound, then the conversation or speech goes VERY QUIET, and have difficulties understanding it. :(
- just one more bug I guess.

Yep that is the problem i have i've seen on a other forum that if you lower your graphic you will get past this bug it had something to do with your ram being to small even though it is enough.

I have the exactly the same issue. After one minute the campaign is over. So stupid!
Does anyone have an idea how to get past that glitch or can someone provide a savegame where one could continue after the first mission?

Maybe my tech specs help to find a solution:

core i5k haswell, win 7 64 bit, gtx 560 TI, 8 GB RAM, onboard sound.

shooting people accurately in the weightless environment of space is a huge glitch! Not to mention hearing the sound of gun fire.

well my copy of ghosts in campaign is good but multi... its horrible cant even connect...

Just so everyone knows, if you have it installed on an external hard drive, it won't work. Probably something about not being able to transfer fast enough, according to another person. They just kind of stand there doing nothing, as mentioned above. :(

Did anyone ever find another solution to this bug? I've been getting the same thing since I installed COD Ghosts on my 2017 Macbook Pro via Windows 10 on bootcamp. The install is located in my C:\ drive, and I've tried reinstalling the game multiple times, as well as fiddling with graphics settings to see if that's the issue. Direct X is the latest version (12) and I've tried running in Windows 8 and 7 modes. I still get stuck at the top of the hill with Elias and Hesh standing there yapping (but not speaking). Super frustrating!

Try to update your graphics drivers? My brother who has the game too on his laptop with i5, 4gb of ram and Intel HD graphics doesn't have this bug so i don't think it could be a spec wise related issue.
Also, in what language are you playing the game? Try it in English if you haven't already and then retest?
