*Serious crashing problem*

I've now got an issue where at random times the game will freeze, the sound will continue, and it never unfreezes. If I go to alt tab, I just get a black screen. If I go to ctrl atl delete, it just loads forever, never getting to it. The only way to get out is a hard restart. This a bloody awful problem.

The same problem, on the second mission (when the dog appears). Can't play. Any fix on this yet?

after all internet searching and manipulations I've found myself with this problem:
When game crashes apears window:
Direct3DDevice::Present failed (DEVICE REMOVED)

Having looked at your info this is your problem.

DirectX Driver Name: aticfx32.dll
Driver Version: 9.12.0.0
DirectX Driver Version: 8.17.10.1172
Driver Date: 19 Dec 2012

The graphics driver is out of date, you need to update it.
