iw6sp64_ship.exe - Application Error

When I double click the .exe immediately comes out this message "iw6sp64_ship.exe - Application Error: The application was unable to start correctly )0x000007b). Click OK to close the applicaton"



My laptop is an "ASUS Republic of Gamers G750JX-DB71 "



It comes whit:


•O.S: Windows 8 64 bits
•GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 770MX 3GB / Directx 11 support / Up to date driver to version: 331.65
•RAM: 16GB
•Processor: Intel core i7-4700HQ CPU@ 2.4GHz



I installed the game 3 times whit all their components (Visual, framework, Directx etc..) got the latest video card drivers, Directx 11, etc... and I still getting the same result "iw6sp64_ship.exe - Application Error: The application was unable to start correctly )0x000007b). Click OK to close the applicaton"



I check and double check the system requeriments and my laptop CAN play this game so... NOW WHAT?!



Does anyone have the same issue??

I run maxed out fine after a few fixes on Windows 8.1. For me it just ran bad without the fixes.

Did you download the DESKTOP drivers or teh LAPTOP drivers?

Because you control panel should look like this when choosing an exe

1) Unisntall your existing drivers

4) REBOOT (DO NOT SKIP THIS)

Then let me know if the control panel looks like the screenshot above.

If it does force teh Nvidia card in Option #2 "Select the preferred...."

It 'seems' like you have the desktop UI which is why I'm wordering ifyou download the wrong one.

It seems that the issue is with the software itself as those that have "supported" video cards are experiencing the same type of issue. I can play the game up until I get to Roark falling. After that nothing but the error, so can someone explain that?
