Rourke interrogation scene stuck!

I was in the rourke interrogation scene. (in pc) it says to press F rapidly..and i did.. and i always failed that scene.. It dosent work it's a BUG!!!!!!

It worked when I played the game in November but now I get killed every time and the interrogation scence just keeps repeating.

I was stuck on that for a very long time (about 1.5 hours) whilst streaming it. I checked the forum for tips. I tried every kind of macro I could think of. I bound the use key to scroll up and down on the mouse and rolled it. Nothing worked. Then I remembered the game was built for consoles. I plugged in my PS3 controller and got past it first time. http://www.twitch.tv/tasxsit/b/492814484 Proof, I get to that scene at about 4:35 and have the brainwave at about 6:06. Hope that works for someone else who gets that stuck there.

Press F key as fast as you can on Veteran.

I had to drop back to Regular from Hardened to get by the interrogation scene and then I was stuck at Regular for the rest of the interval. I will try it at Veteran and see if that works for me (No PS3 Controller, alas!).

Just remap the key to something else. I changed it to Z. Onscreen it prompted me to hit F or Z and I hit Z repeatedly and it worked. Stupid glitch.

I remapped the key, maybe that worked. Also use your right finger to click really fast, my left just isn't fast enough

I've finshed this game on Hardened a few times, but, and pressing F was always a crapshoot, this time it just will not work-nothing has changed in my hardware. It is just ignorant the developers have not fixed this bug. After 2 hours of trying I give up and refuse to drop the difficulty-which always works-or buy a PS3 controller-I do not and never will play on or buy a console including the controller=should not have to. None of the other "fixes" ever worked: ie; remapping the key, pressing E etc.

I meant Veteran not Hardened-if I drop to Hardened pressing the F key would work.

Off topic, but how do you guys with a PS3 controller get it to work on a PC? There's a utility called Joy something or other that I tried long ago, but it didn't work for me. That was on a Windows 7 64 system, but I'm now on Windows 8.1 64 and haven't tried the PS3 controller on it.

EDIT: I should have done my homework first. Just found this on Steam http://steamcommunity.com/groups/steamuniverse/discussions/0/864980009937564570/ and it works like a charm.

Did it!

Saw someone on youtube saying that it has to be rhythmically pressed. I did it by making a macro that when held down does:

- F key down
- Wait 50 ms
- F key up
- Wait 50 ms
- Repeat

This does 10 clicks per second and works perfectly. Hope this helps anyone that's also stuck on it.

Yeah, I just hit this as well playing on Veteran. To be more specific about how I got around it following BarryThePirate's suggestion, I installed AutoHotKey and used the following script:

F1::
Loop 100
{
Send {F down}
Sleep 50
Send {F up}
Sleep 50
}

Return

Then press F1 during the interrogation. This actually didn't work for me right away and I tried a bunch of variations. When it finally did work, I had made an effort to keep Rourke's gun in the middle of the screen. So you may have to try this a number of times before it'll work.

Found, just focus on the whole Rourke arm. Just ready look at Rourke arm and as soon F button show up, spam the F button and it work
