Installing Ghosts with disc's
Hey, i've got an issue i'm not familiar with. And to begin with, sorry if this is a waste of an new thread but i've searched for a thread familiar to my issue but none found.

So i've bought Cod Ghosts earlier today to my pc, i recieved 4 install disc's. Including the product number/activation number. Everything goes fine from my first installation disc, but when it has installed and steam prompts me to insert disc 2... it comes an error code saying "E:\ can't find program".Then i just clicked ok and it started install disc 2. So it did the same with the disc 3 & 4 with the same error code. AFter all disc has installed on my pc, it has created 2 shortcuts to my desktop, 1 for campaign, second for multiplayer. Bot of them doesn't have a real/correct location folder. If i try to launch Ghosts from desktop, an error code pops up saying, "couldn't launch game, steam error". Same error code pops up if i try to launch trough steam.

So i've watched several youtube videos of how to install Ghosts, none of them did work. I've tried different methods from multiple forums online, didn't work either. I couldn't find a sinlge result when browsing the web o Pc Ghosts game that includes 4 install disc's, and here's to the funny part. When installed correctly (as i thought i did) i couldn't find the destination folder anywhere, if going to "computer and opening every disc separatetly, none of them, have any "launch.exe or ghost.exe file or any real game app to launch Ghosts, i mean it's like it takes first an eternety to install all 4 disc's and finally after that, it's like i have no game folder or any program made to launch Ghosts.

Please does anyone have any experience or does anyone know how to fix this or what to do, perhaps been trough this before with a friend or something... I'm getting kinda' desperate here and don't know what i could do anymore, it would really be appriciated, thanks for Your time if you did read all this! It really means alot to me. Best regards and a little bit of hope.. / w.s

Wasn't there an issue with installing to a different drive than the OS was on when the game was released?

Get the steam product code from inside the box, install the game on steam using the product code

^^yes and yes.
if your OS is on C drive and your game on E drive it wont like the install.

keep discs as backup and just use the yey to start your download. delete what you have already downloaded though as it might conflict.
