cod:ghosts crashes on mission 13

hey guys!i've got a problem with cod:ghosts.i begin mission 13(factory) and i can play until the point the team is under attack by a chopper.at this point my game crashes.i had no other problems with the game so far.any opinions? I 've tried to restart the game and steam but there was no result.the game keeps crashing at this point every time.

I had the same bug yesterday and couldn't fix it. My last successful playthrough of this game was several months ago and there was no such bug at that time. And now I can't go past this mission. Maybe it's some Ghosts update, or one of the new Windows updates, or new NVIDIA GeForce driver, my current GeForce driver version is 344.48. Windows 8.1 64-bit, GTX 670.

If you have NVIDIA and really want to finish the game, you could try uninstalling new driver and installing some of the older versions.

P.S. Deleting the game and reinstalling it again does not help.

I had the same bug and couldn't fix it. EVGA 780Ti and GeForce driver version 344.48.

When the game crashed, a small pop-up in the bottom right side of the screen mentions Nvidia drivers crashed and rebooted.

Perhaps an older driver will do the trick?

344.48 is a Game Ready driver.
Best gaming experience for Lords of the Fallen, Civilization: Beyond Earth, and Elite: Dangerous.

roll back 2 or 3 drivers.

344.48 drivers are garbage; since installing these I have had freezing, crashing in any and all COD games as well as many others I play...and not just Mission 13 in Ghosts. I rolled back to the 344.11 drivers and all is good everywhere.

Im having the same problem at the same point in the game, you can see the chopper out the window and as soon as the team go to open the door its a black screen..

Sees a little too specific to be a driver problem but if anyone rolls back and it works let us know.

The amount of hassle i get from updating and downgrading my drivers... this game isnt worth it

I have the same problem and i get a popup box saying

"Fatal Error
Direct3DDevice::Present failed (DEVICE REMOVED) :
DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG (-2005270523)"

I have a GTX 980 344.48 driver. I guess it's the driver.

I have same problem. I installed newest Nvidia driver 344.48 and after that game starts to crash. I hope that they fix this soon,because before installing this driver I was playing this game without any troubles and I really want to level up,becase now it's double xp week.
And after crash I get this mistake:
